Figures: Chinese mainland's exports to HKSAR in January-August 2005

Major exports of China's mainland to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) in January-August 2005, with the value in million US dollars:

Machinery, electronic products and audio-video facilities 39,798.265

Textile raw material and products 9,158.740

Optical and medical instruments 5,364.657

Miscellaneous products (furniture, lamp, toys, etc.) 2,926.224

Base metals and products 2,936.593

Chemical products 1,780.467

Precious metals, jewelry and related products 1,637.511

Chinese mainland's trade with HKSAR in January-August 2005 totaled 81,990.016 million US dollars, up 20.5 percent over the same period last year, with exports and imports growing by 21.9 percent and 9.1 percent to 73,914.096 million and 8,075.920 million US dollars respectively.
