Serbia-Montenegro vows to arrest remaining war criminalsThe Serbia-Montenegro presidential office on Tuesday vowed to bring remaining war crime fugitives to justice. Serbia-Montenegro is determined to cooperate with the United Nations war criminal tribunal, the office said in a statement after a meeting between Serbia-Montenegro President Svetozar Marovic with visiting Finnish Foreign Minister Errki Tuomioja. In a separate meeting with Tuomioja, Serbia-Montenegro Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica pledged to arrest and hand over the remaining wanted fugitives to the UN war criminal tribunal in The Hague. The settlement of extraditing former war criminals like Radovan Karazic and Ratko Mladic to The Hague is one of the major hurdles to the opening of Serbia-Montenegro's accession talks with the EU.
