Vietnam to host int'l industrial trade fair

An international industrial trade fair will be held in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City this month, with the expected participation of some 40 enterprises from China, Germany, France, Italy, South Korea, Japan and Thailand.

The 9th international industrial trade fair, EPM Vietnam 2005, slated for Oct. 11-14, will feature products, technologies and services of the industries of construction, energy, rubber, plastic, ceramics and food processing, the fair's organizer, the German Hannover Messe International GmbH, told Xinhua on Thursday.

The 4-day event co-organized by the AFC International Exhibition Fair Corporation has so far attracted 100 local and foreign companies, the group said.

The 8th international industrial trade fair was held in capital Hanoi in December 2003.
