font size

A newly modified regulation was issued in Beijing Friday to enhance management on official documents in the departments of the People's Liberation Army.

Hu Jintao, chairman of the Central Military Commission, signed an order to issue the regulation aimed to formalize the document administration in PLA departments.

With nine chapters and 48 articles, the regulation reduces the number of categories of official documents, adjusts the document format and formalizes the administrative procedures for handling the documents.

The regulation is scheduled to take effect as of January 1, 2006.
