Israeli army troops arrested on Sunday two Palestinians, claiming that the two threw fire bottles on Israeli settlers' vehicles while traveling near the West Bank cities of Ramallah and Bethlehem.
Israeli sources said that the army arrested a Palestinian young man near the village of Om Salamona in southern Bethlehem after he threw fire bottles at an Israeli car, adding that there were no casualties.
The other young man was arrested from the village of Jaba, near Ramallah, where he was also carrying fire bottles, intending to throw it at settlers' vehicles that were traveling in a road adjacent to the village.
Meanwhile, Al Aqsa martyrs' brigades, armed wing of the Palestine National Liberation Movement (Fatah), claimed responsibility for opening fire at an Israeli army camp locates at Bethlehem northern entrance.
The group said in a written statement sent to reporters that its militants managed to explode a bomb near headquarters of the Israeli military liaison in western Bethlehem.
