200 Projects from Hunan Expected to Show Up in CHTF

The high and new technology sector in Changsha is going to stage a thrilling show at the CHTF. The Changsha High and New Technology Development Zone, which is designated to organize exhibition affairs for the CHTF, told the press that the China Hi-Tech Fair is slated to open in Shenzhen on October 11, and 63 enterprises in Hunan province will bring over 200 products and projects to the show. Key events include investment projects promotion, theme investment briefings, and trade and economic talks.

The city of Changsha handpicked some 70 projects that are deemed attractive to investors in both China and other parts of the world, which mainly involve sectors of electronics and information, new materials, and machine building. The star research projects and enterprises include high-performance carbon/carbon aircraft braking material preparation technologies made possible by a group of experts working under Mr. Huang Boyun, an academician of the China Academy of Sciences and President of Zhongnan University; stem cell project led by renowned genetic breeding expert Prof. Lu Guangxiu, Longping Hi-tech, Zhonglian Zhongke, and Yuanda Air-conditioner.

Changsha High and New Technology Development Zone has so far sent more than 600 invitations to investors in both China and other parts of the world, and some 150 to 180 invitees are expected to show up at the Lugu Project Promotion and Briefing Conference and Agreement Signing Ceremony. Key investors will be coming from the Zhujiang River Delta, Hong Kong and Macao, and the contractual amount is estimated to exceed 2 billion yuan.
