The 7th CHTF to open Oct.12

The opening ceremony of the 7th CHTF 2005 will begin on the morning of Oct.12, instead of Oct.11 evening as originally scheduled, the organizer of CHTF said Saturday.

According to the organizer, the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, where the 7th CHTF is to take place, will open to visitors from noon on Oct.12. The start of the Ministers' Forum will be postponed noon to 3:00 p.m., and the Convention and Exhibition Center will start selling tickets at 11:00 a.m on Oct.12.

The center's No.1 exhibition room for the information technology products has begun arranging its booth from Oct. 6. The exhibition rooms No. 4, 6, 7, 8 for State hi-tech achievements began booth arrangement Oct.3, and the No.9 exhibition room started Oct.5. All exhibition rooms in the center will have completed their setting up of booths by 10:00 a.m. on Oct.11.

The 504-square meter Hong Kong booth will exhibit achievements of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's five key research and development centers of the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Applied Science & Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd.
