font size

China provided the second batch of emergency commodities to Pakistan Monday after the first batch was transported to the earthquake-shaken nation.

Weighing some 90 tons, the second batch of goods consisted of 840 tents, 7,350 quilts and 1,670 blankets, among others. China's Ministry of Commerce also remitted one million US dollars to Pakistan.

China planned to transport more commodities to Pakistan on Tuesday and Wednesday.
