The second batch of relief goods provided by the Chinese government arrived in Islamabad Monday evening.
Chinese Ambassador Zhang Chunxiang, Economic and Commercial Counselor Ma Changlin and Ishtiak Ahmad Khan, Additional Secretary of Pakistani Cabinet Division, attended a brief handover ceremony at the Islamabad International Airport and signed the receipt of the relief items.
The relief goods, which were carried by a special cargo plane, include 840 tents, 7350 cotton padded mattresses, 1670 blankets and 8980 towel quilts.
