Israel's Shin Bet security service arrested a Palestinian girl in Gaza earlier this week, a suspected explosive engineer of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Israeli army radio said Tuesday.
The radio quoted Israeli security sources as saying that Samar Subeih, from the northern Gaza Strip refugee camp of Jabalia, worked for Hamas' armed wing al-Qassam Brigades.
Subeih supervised making explosive devices and prepared them for suicide bombers against Israel, reported the radio.
The Israeli security service has arrested four Hamas activists in the West Bank, one in Ramallah, one in Tulkarem and two in Hebron.
The Israeli army also stormed the house of Palestinian police commander Abu Salah in Ramallah and arrested his son Yasser, who confessed later that he was head of a Hamas cell that was responsible for the kidnapping and killing of an Israeli settler, the radio said.
