font size

Featuring the theme of "new environment, and new economy", 2005 China forum on private economy development was held in Hefei, capital city of central China's Anhui province on Oct. 11 and 12, 2005. The forum was jointly sponsored by China National Democratic Construction Association and Anhui provincial government.

Cheng Siwei, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of China National Democratic Construction Association, said in a report that China should lessen control over the market access of private economy by reducing governmental administrative licenses and changing it into the approval system or recording system. Meanwhile, market auxiliary condition must be fair, and price control should be lifted. Based on those measures to be taken, government also needs to lend financial and taxation support, perfect social service function of private enterprises and protect the legal interests of enterprises and their employees from being violated.
