Senior CPC official speaks highly of Sino-Iranian ties

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, spoke highly of Sino-Iranian relations while meeting with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Maouchehr Mottaki on Friday.

Wang said that the CPC is willing to maintain and develop friendly exchanges and cooperation with all parties in Iran in line with the principle of "independence, complete equality, mutual respect and non-interference in each other's internal affairs."

Mottaki spoke highly the leading role of the CPC in promoting an all-round and rapid development in China.

Mottaki said Iran would make unremitting effort to promote an all-round bilateral development between the two countries.
