BP intends to form partnership with Sinopec
font size

A report of Britain's Financial Times says British Petroleum is seeking to establish a cooperative relation with Sinopec. But officials of Sinopec declined comment on this issue as the reporter with the Shanghai-based International Finance News called to confirm.

China is the fastest-growing energy user in the world. Any deal BP enters into with Sinopec will help BP gain access to China's oil refine and oil products sales & marketing industries. It is reported that cooperation with BP may help Sinopec make up for deficiency in upstream exploitation.
