Members of China's top advisory body Friday spoke highly of the draft program for China's economic and social development in the next five years, which has been approved by the Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC) .

At the 11th session of the Standing Committee of 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), members of the top advisory body said the proposal for formulating the 11th five-year program for China's economic and social development meets the demands of the era and reflects the aspiration of the people.

The proposal was approved at the fifth plenary session of the 16th CPC Central Committee.

The proposal reflects the strategic thought of building a harmonious society through implementing the scientific concept of development, said members of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.
