List of top 100 Chinese catering enterprises released

According to the survey conducted jointly by Ministry of Commerce, China Cuisine Association and China National Commercial Informational Center, the turnover of the top 100 catering enterprises in China recorded 53.686 billion yuan, up 27.06 percent from the same period last year or taking up 7.2 percent of the nation's total catering retail volume. Employees with the top 100 catering enterprises has gone beyond 600,000, yielding 3 percent of the all the employees engaging in catering industry.

The first 10 among the top 100 are: Pepsi China, Inner Mongolia Little Sheep Chain Co., Ltd, Inner Mongolia Xiao Wei Yang Catering Linkage Co., Ltd, Shanghai Jinjiang International Hotel Development Co., Ltd, Beijing Xiao Tu Dou Co., Ltd, Chongqing Cygnet Investment Group, Chongqing Dezhuang Industry and Commerce Group Company, Dicos Foods Development Co., Ltd, China Quanjude (Group), Co., Ltd and Haigang Catering and Entertainment Management Co., Ltd. These 10 leading enterprises account for nearly 60 percent of the business volume of top hundred enterprises, with the annual business turnover of top-rank Pepsi China (KFC included) hitting 11.869 billion yuan.
