Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met in Beijing Friday with Gordon Brown, Chancellor of the Exchequer of Britain.

The two exchanged views on bilateral ties and financial cooperation.

Brown was invited by the Chinese Ministry of Finance to attend the two-day G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors, which is to be held in Xianghe town, some 50 kilometers (30 miles) east of the Chinese capital.
