| Lien Chan visits northeast China province |
|
Li Keqiang (R), secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, presents a gift to Lien Chan, honorary chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT), during their meeting in Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, Oct. 14, 2005. Lien Chan (2nd R Front), honorary chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT), is greeted by Chen Yunlin (1st R Front), director of the Taiwan Work Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, upon his arrival at Taoxian International Airport in Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, on Oct, 14, 2005. Lien will visit places where his mother had lived, and meet and call on relatives and friends in the city on behalf of his mother.
