Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs Mohamed Dahlan who suffered from a severe sickness is recovering in Yugoslavia and will be back in Gaza next week, well-informed Palestinian sources said on Saturday.
The sources quoted a Dahlan's brother as saying that the minister is passing through the final measures of his treatments and will be back in Gaza next week.
Dahlan's brother also told reporters that his brother is not determined to retire political life because of his sickness.
Dahlan suffered from severe back and nerves pain. He went to Jordan two months ago for treatment, from where he went to physiotherapy in Yugoslavia.
Last week roamers spread in the Gaza Strip that Dahlan died ina hospital in Yugoslavia, but the roamers had been immediately denied by his family and his supporters.
In addition of being a minister for civil affairs, Dahlan is in charge of the file of the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Stripand northern West Bank though he was not able to continue this job because of his sickness.
