Palestinian militants killed two��Israelis and wounded five others in a drive-by shooting attack outside a Jewish settlement bloc in the West Bank on Sunday, Israel Radio reported.
Israeli rescue staff said that Palestinian militants in a speeding car opened fire on a hitchhiking station at the Gush Etzion settlement bloc in the West Bank, south of Jerusalem.
Two Israelis were killed and five others injured, one in serious condition, said the report, adding that the victims were being transferred to Hadassah University Hospital in the Jerusalem��neighborhood of Ein Karem.
The Palestinian militants apparently escaped to the West Bank city of Bethlehem after the attack, it added.
Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, an armed offshoot of the Palestinian mainstream Fatah movement, claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
