Millionth firm registers in Hong Kong

The millionth firm has registered to incorporate in Hong Kong, as Gordon Jones, registrar with the Companies Registry under the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, presented the certificate of incorporation to the president of the millionth company, the Asian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, on October 15, according to the overseas edition of People��s Daily on October 17.

The first company in Hong Kong was reportedly incorporated in 1865, 140 years ago.
