China, ROK to further exchanges in trade unions
font size

Chinese trade unions are ready to further friendly cooperation with the trade unions of the Republic of Korea (ROK), said Chinese trade union chief Wang Zhaoguo in Beijing Monday.

Wang, president of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, made the remarks when meeting with Lee Yong-deuk, president of ROK General Federation of Trade Unions.

Wang, also member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, said the trade unions of the two Asian neighbors should step up cooperation and make joint efforts to boost China-ROK friendly relations.

Wang also briefed Lee on the just-concluded fifth plenary session of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
