Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Luo Gan met in Beijing Tuesday with a delegation of the People's Liberation Movement of Angola (PLMA).

Luo spoke highly of the friendly cooperation between the two countries, when meeting with the delegation headed by Antonio Neto, vice president of PLMA and minister of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security of Angola.

China and Angola have witnessed expanding cooperation in politics, economy and trade in recent years, and have maintained good consultation and cooperation in the international and regional affairs, said Luo, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

He expressed thanks to Angola for its firm support to China in the Taiwan and human right issues.

Luo believed that the two countries will achieve greater development in their bilateral relations through common efforts.

Talking about the relations between the two parties, Luo said that the CPC has paid high attention to developing ties with the People's Liberation Movement of Angola, and hopes the two parties further deepen mutual relations and exchange experiences in governing state affairs, so as to boost the relations between the two countries and the two parties to a new stage.

Antonio Neto warmly congratulated China on the successful return of the Shenzhou-6 spacecraft and appreciated the great achievements China has made in the economic and social development.

He said that Angola is eager to learn from China's experiences in the economic development and hopes to strengthen exchanges between the People's Liberation Movement of Angola and the Communist Party of China and constantly deepen cooperation in various fields.

Antonio Neto said that Angola will firmly support the one-China policy just as before.
