Lien Chan, honorary chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) in Taiwan left Dalian, a port city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, for Qingdao, a port city in Shandong Province, Tuesday to continue his tour on the Chinese mainland.
On the last day visit in Liaoning, Lien took a sightseeing of the coastal city in the morning by making a yacht cruise.
Lien came to Shenyang, capital of Liaoning, last Friday. While in Shenyang, Lien visited places where his mother had lived and called on relatives and friends in the city on behalf of his mother.
He also visited the history museum of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression in Shenyang and the exhibition museum of the Japan-Russia war.
This is Lien's second visit to the Chinese mainland this year.
Previously, Lien made an epoch-making visit to the mainland from April 26 to May 3, at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Hu Jintao, the CPC Central Committee general secretary.
