China and Russia will hold the second round of the Sino-Russian Strategic Security Talks this week, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan in Beijing Tuesday.

Russian Security Council Secretary Igor Ivanov, as guest of Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan, will pay a visit to China from Oct. 19 to 21 to hold the talks, said Kong.
