font size

Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong said in Nanning Tuesday that China's development will bring opportunity to the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).

"The prosperity of ASEAN accords with the interests of China," Zeng said while meeting ASEAN trade and economic ministers, who are here to attend the second China-ASEAN Exposition.

He said China-ASEAN Expo is the common career of China and the ASEAN nations, hoping that the two sides would make joint efforts to turn the expo into an important platform to show and promote bilateral cooperation.

The trade and economic ministers from ASEAN countries spoke highly of China's active promotion of the strategic cooperation partnership between China and ASEAN, and regard China as a reliable friend of ASEAN.

They said ASEAN attach importance to economic and investment cooperation with China, and would boost the China-ASEAN Expo to be more fruitful together with China.

The ministers also extend their congratulations on China's latest achievements in the field of space navigation.
