Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong met with his Laotian counterpart Choummali in Nanning Tuesday.

Zeng highly praised Laos' achievements both in country administration and Sino-Laotian bilateral ties, saying that it is happy to see political stability, economic development and improvement of people's life in Laos.

Under the guiding principle of "long-term stability, good-neighborliness, all-round relationship with mutual trust", which was set forth by leaders of the two countries, China will continuously strengthen Sino-Laotian cooperation in politics, military, security, economy and trade, education and training, Zeng said.

China attaches great importance to working together with Laos to deepen the bilateral cooperation in fields like mineral resources, forestry, energy, infrastructure facilities, Zeng added.

Choummali said Laos and China enjoy close communication of political parties and countries. With the friendly cooperation going smoothly, it is believed to expect more achievements. Laos pays great attention to developing relations with China consistently, is willing to deepen the collaboration in every aspect especially in the field of governing country.

Choummali is here for the China-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Expo, which is scheduled to open here Wednesday in Nanning, capital city of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
