font size

President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo arrived here Wednesday afternoon, kicking off a six-day working visit to China as guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

During his stay in Beijing, Obiang is expected to meet with President Hu and Premier Wen Jiabao as well as Chinese business representatives.

Besides Beijing, he will also visit Dalian, a major port city in northeast China's Liaoning Province, and Shanghai, China's economic hub. This is Obiang's fifth visit to China.

China and Equatorial Guinea established diplomatic relations on Oct.15, 1970.
