Manifesto of China-ASEAN Cities of Charm signed

The "Manifesto of China-ASEAN Cities of Charm" was signed today in Nanning, the capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, during the second China-ASEAN Expo.

According to the manifesto, the delegates of Cities of Charm from China and ASEAN countries jointly agreed that strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and promoting common development are the joint objectives of the "Cities of Charm" in China and the ASEAN Member Countries.

The China-ASEAN Cities of Charm is an innovation for this year's Expo, fully reflecting cities'image, advancing mutual understanding and exploring business opportunities through exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries, said Lu Bin, chairman with Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The "Cities of Charm" include Beijing of China, Bandar Seri Begawan of Brunei, Singapore city of Singapore, Siem Reap of Cambodia, Jakarta of Indonesia, Luang Prabang of Laos, Putrajaya of Malaysia, Myanmar of Mandalay, Cebu of Philippines, Chiang Mai of Thailand, and Hanoi of Vietnam.
