China's major imports from Australia in January-August 2005, with the value in million US dollars:

Mineral products 5,543.244

Base metals and products 1,217.958

Chemical products 1,038.085

Textile materials and products 796.108

Plant products 376.456

Machinery, electronic products,audio-visual equipment and accessories 256.893

China's trade with Australia in January-August of 2005 totaled 17,163.179 million US dollars, up 37.6 percent over the same period last year, with exports and imports growing by 29.7 percent and 43.4 percent to 6,808.742 million and 10,354.438 million US dollars, respectively.
