Nepali gov't team formed to study FM radio

The Nepali government has mobilized a team to study various aspects of FM radio of Nepal, Radio Nepal reported Sunday.

The team will submit a report which is aimed at "institutional development of FM radios," according to the state-run radio.

The main concerns of study of the team will be to find ways to provide economic and technical support to FM radios, to make available job opportunities in FM radios, to upgrade the FM radio programs to "world standard" as well as make the programs effective and attractive, the radio noted.

The team is expected to submit the report soon, the radio added.
