President of Equatorial Guinea ends China tour

President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo ended his working visit to China as he left Shanghai on Monday morning.

Obiang met with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao respectively in Beijing, where a joint communique and cooperation documents were also signed between the two countries.

Besides Beijing and Shanghai, he also visited Dalian, a major port city in northeast China's Liaoning Province.

Obiang had come to China as guest of President Hu. This was his fifth visit to China.
