The 2nd China International Credit and Risk Management Conference is scheduled to be held in Shanghai, China's leading industrial center, from Dec. 7 to 9 this year, organizers said here Wednesday.
Nearly 500 delegates - including more than 100 from overseas - representing governments, industrial associations for credit management, research institutes, credit agencies, banks, and businesses of finance, insurance and trade will attend the conference.
"The participants will discuss the building of credit system, credit and risk management of enterprises, credit and risk management of international trade, export-related national risk assessment, foreign exchange management, credit insurance, and transnational finance," said Jia Huai, an official with the Economic Information Department of the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
The conference is jointly organized by the CCPIT, the national market economic order rectification and standardization leading office and the US-based Finance, Credit and International Business (FCIB).
Wang Shengli, deputy director of the Credit Management sector of the the national market economic order rectification and standardization leading office, urged Chinese businesses to greatly enhance their credit management at a press conference held in Shanghai on Wednesday.
The First China International Credit and Risk Management Conference was held in Beijing between Oct. 27 and 29, 2004, attracting more than 400 officials and experts from home and abroad.
