Japan, DPRK agree to hold bilateral talks in BeijingJapan and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea agreed Wednesday to hold bilateral talks from Nov. 3 in Beijing, Japanese Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura said. At a news conference in Tokyo, Machimura unveiled the agreement on the schedule for the talks between the two governments. According to a Kyodo News report, the talks will last until Nov. 5. and the two sides are expected to discuss a variety of issues including the solution on abduction and Korean Peninsula's nuclear program.
