Senior CPC official meets FM of Serbia and Montenegro

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met in Beijing Wednesday with Vuk Draskovic, foreign minister of Serbia and Montenegro.

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, expressed CPC's willingness to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with Serbia and Montenegro in a bid to enhance bilateral ties.

The two sides also exchanged views on further promoting the cooperation in various fields, especially on promoting the party exchanges.

Draskovic spoke highly of China's achievements in its economic growth. He said, Serbia and Montenegro will endeavor to push the development of bilateral relations, including the party relations.

Vuk Draskovic paid an official visit to China from October 22 to 27, at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing.
