Cameroon willing to further develop relations with China: President
font size

Cameroonian President Paul Biya said in Yanounde on Wednesday that his country is willing to further strengthen friendship and cooperation with China.

China has offered assistance and support to Cameroon in various fields in the last few decades, Biya said while meeting Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Wei Jianguo, head of a Chinese business delegation visiting Cameroon.

He stressed that Cameroon will unswervingly adhere to the one-China policy and support China in international affairs.

Biya also hailed China's successful launch and return of the Shenzhou-6 spacecraft.

Chinese companies are welcomed to boost investments in Cameroon, he added.

The Chinese delegation is here to attend the 6th conference of the China-Cameroon Committee on Economic and Trade Cooperation.
