font size

A WTO report accessed through Chinese consulate-general Karachi shows that China faces 22 anti-dumping investigations for the first half year, more than any other economy in the world.

The report says there are 15 less anti-dumping lawsuits in the first half 2005 in the world than the same period of last year and 96 anti-dumping investigations have been launched over the first six months, down from 106 in the first half of last year.

53 applications for anti-dumping measures have been filed from Jan. to June, compared with 58 petitions in the same period of last year. And South Africa alone has launched 17 investigations, the most in the world.
