A roadside bomb struck a US military convoy in eastern Baghdad, killing two US soldiers, the US military said on Thursday.

"Two Task Force Baghdad soldiers were killed on Oct. 26 when their convoy struck an improvised explosive device in eastern Baghdad," the military said in a statement.
