The State Council, China's cabinet, recently appointed new vice-ministers for education, commerce and administration of industry and commerce.

Li Weihong, female, was appointed vice-minister of education.

Jiang Zengwei and Yi Xiaozhun were appointed vice-ministers of commerce.

Zhong Youping was appointed deputy director of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

The State Council also removed Zhang Baoqing from the post of vice-minister of education, Zhang Zhigang and An Min from the posts of vice-ministers of commerce, Gan Guoping from the post of deputy director of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and Jiang Zengwei from the post of director of the Board of Supervisors for Key Large-sized State-owned Enterprises.
