Nepal-China border meeting kicks off in KathmanduThe second meeting of the Nepal-China Joint Border Inspection Committee (NCJBIC) opened in Katmandu Friday, Radio Nepal reported Saturday. "The NCJBIC meeting will be instrumental in signing the rules and regulations governing the committee and the Nepal-China Joint Inspection Teams (NCJIT)," the radio quoted an official at Foreign Affairs Ministry of Nepal as saying. "The four-day-long meeting will also discuss the previously exchanged documents to facilitate field work of joint border inspection," the radio said. Hira Bahadur Thapa, joint secretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Nepal, and Li Qingyan, advisor of Chinese Foreign Ministry Border Management, are leading their respective delegation at the meeting, said the radio.
