font size

The Islamic Jihad (Holy War) said Sunday night that residents of the Israeli town of Sderot will not enjoy calm and security after its two militants were killed in the West Bank.

The movement said in a leaflet that there will be no calm for

residents in southern Israel following the killing, while calling for convening a follow-up committee meeting to discuss how to confront Israeli attacks against the Palestinians.

Two Palestinian militants were shot dead Sunday night during clashes with Israeli forces in the village of Qabatia near the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
