A 26-member Taiwanese delegation, headed by New Party Chairman Yok Mu-ming, arrived Monday afternoon in northeastern China's Liaoning province for a seven-day visit.

The delegation, named "journey of the Chinese nation", will pay a seven-day visit to the province for an investment environment probe, said a source with the Liaoning Provincial government.

The delegation is scheduled to visit the province's capital of Shenyang, the harbor city Dalian and northeast China's iron and steel base Anshan, aiming at seeking economic cooperation opportunities with the enterprises and businessmen in the province.

This is the second time that Yok visited Liaoning this year.

In July. he led a delegation, also named "journey of the Chinese nation", to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory over the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in the Chinese mainland cities including Guangzhou, Nanjing, Beijing and Dalian.
