78.9% of radiators qualified: survey

Some 78.9 percent of radiators made in China are qualified, according to the latest sampling survey conducted by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the Economic Daily reported Monday.

The survey showed that 45 out of 57 brands of radiators made by57 factories in 13 provinces met the national quality requirements,the newspaper said.

Besides, the administration also found 90 percent of China's indoor heaters were qualified.

The sample investigation showed that 45 out of 50 brands of indoor heaters made by 50 factories in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Anhui and Shandong met the national quality requirements.
