Documentary writing on Party veteran publishedA ceremony was held in Beijing Sunday to mark the publication of a documentary writing on the life of a Communist Party of China (CPC) veteran. Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top advisory body, attended the ceremony. The book tells the story of Bai Jian, who started his revolutionary career in 1926 and participated in the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation in the 1930s and 1940s, demonstrating the noble quality of a CPC member in a quest for truth.
