CPC leader stresses duties and tasks set by party constitution

A magazine will carry an article on Tuesday elaborating how members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) fully perform their duties and tasks set by the CPC Constitution.

The article written by Wu Guanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, will be published on Tuesday's Qiushi (meaning "seeking truth" in Chinese) magazine, one of the key authoritative CPC mouthpieces.

The party constitution has stipulated fundamental rules and laws the Party members should follow, Wu said.

"All the Party members should observe carefully the constitution and act strictly in accordance with related rules and regulations," said Wu, also secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

"This is the fundamental guarantee for the CPC to enhance solidarity and unification among its members and keep its vanguard nature and purity," he said.

The article also tells how to prevent CPC cadres from making mistakes and the major tasks the commissions for discipline inspection at various levels should shoulder.
