The Beijing Capital Airport expansion with 2 billion investment is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year. A parking apron for corporate jets will be in service and the road for cargo transportation will stretch to the East Sixth Ring.

When the project is completed, there will be 36 additional slots and it can also hold 21 parking stands for special planes and corporate jets, as well as 6 for deicer aircrafts.

The runway will also be improved so that it can accommodate 1200 flight take-offs and landings and 45 million passenger flow volume.
