China sent a fresh batch of relief materials, 137 tons of tents and blankets, to earthquake-hit Pakistan from Beijing and Tianjin cities on Friday, the Ministry of Commerce said on its website Friday.
A powerful earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter Scale jolted Pakistan on Oct. 8. The death toll came to 73,276, according to the figures released by Islamabad Wednesday.
China has sent five batches of relief materials and two rescue teams to Pakistan. The aid has amounted to over 20 million US dollars.
