font size

China's exports of thulium declined to 50,400 tons in the first three quarters of this year, down 3.6 percent from the same period of last year, but the trade value increased by 14.1 percent to 233 million US dollars.

Quoting statistics from the General Administration of Customs, the Land and Resources newspaper reported that the thulium exports of Jiangsu Province in East China accounted for 18.3 percent of the total, and that of Beijing and Inner Mongolia in North China, 18.4 percent and 12.7 percent, respectively.

China mainly exports thulium to Japan, the European Union (EU) and the United States, with exports to Japan making up 36 percent of the total, and that to the EU and the United States, 24.8 percent and 24.1 percent, the report said.
