Ministry of Commerce cracks down on foreign trade fraudulence
font size

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has launched a special campaign to crack down on fraudulent activities in foreign trade, Economic Daily reported on Tuesday.

The campaign will punish fraudulent activities involving falsifying export receipts, price cheating and false exports, the newspaper noted.

If the par value of receipts provided by exporting firms for importers is lower than that in the receipt offered in the declaration process, it will be easier for importing countries to launch anti-dumping probes against Chinese goods, the ministry said.

The Ministry of Commerce will work jointly with Chinese customs and taxation departments in this regard.
