The tenth China fishery exposition opened Thursday in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, which has attracted more than 600 enterprises from 37 countries and regions.

The exposition, hosted by China Council for Promotion of International Trade, has become the largest fishery exhibition event in Asia, and one of the three major fishery expositions in the world, since its debut in 1996.

The three-day event is expected to welcome 15,000 visitors from 54 countries and regions.
