font size

The signing ceremony for the contracts for construction, mounting and supervision of the 2nd phase expansion project of the Qinshan Nuclear Power Station was held in Beijing Wednesday.

The second-phase expansion project (the No. 3 and No. 4 power unit) is a project based on the design and technical foundations of the second-phase project of Qinshan Nuclear Power Station, China's first nuclear power plant for commercial use that is built, managed and operated independently.

The construction of the expansion project containing two 650-megawatt nuclear power units will kick off in Q1 2006.
